A leading Telecommunications Services company is seeking a Credit Control Manager Operations to join their finance team.

This role will be focused on driving operational efficiencies and optimizing collections and debt recovery processes. The primary objective will be to improve Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and reduce slippage by closely monitoring collections activities and delivering accurate, timely reports.

The position will be responsible for developing and implementing data-driven strategies to enhance collections processes, maximize cash flow, and minimize bad debts.

As a Credit Control Manager Operations, you will responsible for the following:

• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of current collection strategies, providing data-driven recommendations to improve recovery rates.
• Lead process improvements and policy development initiatives affecting collections, ensuring follow-through on action items and assigned projects.
• Translate business needs and end-user requirements into functional specifications that define the system's necessary capabilities.
• Support Credit Control Managers by delivering data-driven insights to inform operational decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, balancing data insights with operational needs to drive efficiency.
• Work with legal and compliance teams to ensure all collections activities comply with regulatory standards.
• Gather and analyze data from multiple sources to compile accurate monthly reports.
• Develop and maintain daily and monthly dashboards to track trends, identify gaps, and measure key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Prepare and present comprehensive reports to senior management, summarizing findings and actionable recommendations.
• Undertake special projects and ad-hoc reporting as required to address business opportunities and challenges.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Matric/Grade 12 (Certificate required)
• Credit Management level 3 will be beneficial
• Min 5 years financial/collections analysis experience
• Management experience is preferred
