About the Business:

Finatal is working with a dynamic, private equity-backed hospitality business that is embarking on an exciting growth journey. With plans to expand into new markets, the business is seeking a highly skilled Interim Management Accountant to support strategic decision-making through robust scenario modelling and financial insights.

The Opportunity:

As the Interim Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's expansion strategy. Your focus will be on creating and analysing financial models to evaluate the feasibility and profitability of entering new markets, while providing actionable insights to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain detailed scenario models to assess the financial impact of potential market expansions.
• Collaborate with operational teams to gather data and develop assumptions for modelling.
• Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to senior management based on scenario outcomes.
• Support the preparation of board-level presentations for private equity stakeholders.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and tracking KPIs to ensure alignment with growth objectives.
• Contribute to ad-hoc financial projects and process improvements as required.

About You:

This role is best suited to a recently arrived CA-qualified accountant with a strong technical background and a commercial mindset. You’ll bring:

• Excellent financial modelling skills, with a focus on scenario planning.
• Experience in hospitality or multi-site businesses (preferred but not essential).
• A proactive, problem-solving approach with the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills, capable of presenting complex data in a clear and actionable manner.
• An interest in working in a private equity-backed environment, with an understanding of its pace and expectations
