“If you’re offered a seat on a rocket ship, don’t ask what seat!” - Sheryl Sandberg
Well, the seat on this rocket is a newly created Finance Manager role.
The business has grown quickly through organic growth and acquisitions in recent years. Now with a new CFO and funding, the next phase of growth is planned which will double to size of the already substantial business in the next 3 years.
The role will be looking after the company's biggest division, at the head office and is at the heart of the action. A great place to build your profile with the senior stakeholders you will be partnering with.
In the role you will be leading the team (2 direct reports) through change, yes there are process improvements to be made, along with implementing better controls.
The CFO sees the result of this as growing the commercial capability of the team and your role will mainly be business partnering and driving insight into performance for the stakeholders.
Reporting to a great Finance Director who is a strong leader and someone to learn a lot from. This role will grow in scope over the coming years and you will be ideally positioned for future promotions.
Salary is £60,000 plus benefits, hybrid and flexible working, in the office 3 days a week in Chesterfield.
