The Operations team currently consists of teams in London, Paris and New York. The London office hosts 4 people and is looking to grow.There are 2 associates in Paris, and 2 in New York.

It supports a busy equity trading environment throughout the whole lifecycle of trade, including client on-boarding, middle office, trade support and settlement liaison with clients and out-sourced settlement agents.

The Role

  • Regulatory Reporting (Transaction Reporting, Trade Reporting)
  • Reconciliations and exception management
  • Reference data set up / maintenance as required
  • Order exception management - exception resolution using Ullink
  • Trade booking and confirmation via Fidessa CTAC system
  • Client liaison for all confirmation and settlement queries
  • Confirmation timeliness and STP exception monitoring
  • Settlement monitoring and exception resolution through liaison with clients and agent


Person Specification

  • At least three to five years’ experience in the financial industry
  • The ability to communicate complex issues in clear and concise terms to a broad audience. In particular the ability to work closely with the trade desk and communicate effectively in a time sensitive environment.
  • Knowledge of equity products and the regulatory requirements for Transaction Reporting to both the FCA and EU.
  • Excellent knowledge of front to back trade flows
  • Knowledge or experience using Fidessa, Ullink (Itiviti), Bloomberg EMSX
  • Settlements experience preferable
  • The ability to operate in a dynamic and fast paced environment of growth and change
  • A desire to learn, natural enthusiasm and be keen to be part of a growing team
  • Graduate level education
  • Good knowledge of Excel, Word and other software packages
  • Experience of working under pressure
  • Experience of working with clients/customers
