A Westside tech startup is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team! In this role, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for month-end close, audit requests, fixed assets, revenue, financial statements, and will (now or in the future) oversee AP. What do you need for this Senior Accountant role?

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• 4-7 years of public and/or private accounting experience
• CPA or very close to it
• Advanced Excel

What will you do in this Senior Accountant role?

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Balance sheet account and P&L statement preparation
• Conduct flux analysis and present its related package to senior leaders
• Assist with the annual audit
• Oversee the work of AP staff
• Document accounting processes and policies
• Assist ad hoc projects, reporting, special projects, and system upgrades as needed
