We are looking for an Payroll Specialist to manage payroll processes and ensure accurate salary payments. This role will focus on payroll operations in Belgium while also supporting other EMEA sites. You'll handle payroll compliance, work on projects, and improve processes. This is a 6 month contract.

PLEASE NOTE YOU NEED TO BE FLUENT IN DUTCH/FLEMISH.



Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for Belgium and EMEA employees, working with third-party providers.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws for tasks like new hires, terminations, compensation, benefits, and deductions.
  • Support legislative updates like indexation, meal vouchers, and bonuses.
  • Collect payroll data and provide instructions to payroll providers.
  • Perform audits, reviews, and maintain the Time & Attendance system.
  • Communicate with employees about payroll issues and resolve them within SLA timelines.
  • Assist with audits, projects, and process improvements.
  • Create and update payroll procedure documents.


Requirements:
  • Experience managing Belgian payroll for 500+ employees.
  • Familiarity with Time & Attendance systems (e.g., Pro-time).
  • Strong communication and administrative skills.
  • Payroll project experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Fluent in Flemish/Dutch.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
