Overview

We are seeking a VP of Consumer M&A who is fluent in German to join our our clients dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading M&A transactions within the consumer sector, with a focus on the German-speaking European markets (DACH region). As the VP of Consumer M&A, you will play a pivotal role in executing M&A opportunities while also building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute M&A transactions within the consumer sector, with a focus on the German market
• Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential M&A opportunities
• Develop and maintain a strong network of industry contacts and financial professionals
• Analyze and evaluate potential M&A targets, including financial performance, strategic fit, and risk assessment

Qualifications

• 6+ years of successfully executing M&A transactions within the consumer sector
• Fluent in German and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence experience
• Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities
• Proficiency in analyzing market trends and competitive landscapes
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
• Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to M&A transactions
