A mid-sized company in South East LA is looking for a Tax Manager to join their team. In this role, the Tax Manager will be responsible for sales and use tax, tax returns, compliance, and reporting. What do you need for this Tax Manager role?
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• 5-10 years of tax accounting experience
• Advanced Excel
• Public accounting experience a plus
• CPA license ideal
• Must have experience using tax software

What will you do in this Tax Manager role?
• Sales and use tax return preparation for multiple states
• Prepare Form 571-L for various entities
• Work with external auditors to answer questions and provide documentation related to property and sales and use tax audits
• Business license management
• Respond to government notices
• Property tax statement assessment and review
• Ensure tax rates are current
• Tax research and stay up to date on tax laws and policies
