Clarence George is working with a leading UK Specialty Insurer on a prestigious Fixed Income position within the Group Chief Investment Team. This position will cover a blend of quantitative and qualitative activities, including supporting investment management and analysing new strategy and solutions across asset classes at the Group Level.

Role:

• Work alongside the Group Investment Team to design and analyse new investment strategy and asset allocation decisions
• Support communication between investment and risk management teams across capital, liquidity, and risk management areas
• Provide regular reviews of investment performance including the assistance of ESG initiatives for investment portfolios

Profile:

• They are looking for someone with a strong technical background
• Experience across asset classes would be ideal but particular knowledge of Fixed Income is essential
• Minimum 5 years’ experience
• Open to qualifications such as FIA and CFA
• Experience across insurance (open to both life and non-life backgrounds)
• Experience in non-excel based language would be preferred (Python, Matlab, R etc)
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
