An exciting opportunity for a Chartered Accountant in Midrand!Duties & ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and review budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Conduct financial analysis to support business decision-making.
• Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audit processes.
• Monitor and manage tax compliance and liaise with relevant authorities.
• Provide strategic recommendations to senior management based on financial insights.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
• Minimum post-qualification experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and other relevant financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders.
