Key Responsibilities Summary:
Payroll Management: Oversee monthly payroll processing for 5,000-7,000 employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance with SARS regulations, and timely salary payments.
Compliance & Reporting: Manage tax submissions (EMP501, WCA), expatriate payroll, and UIF claims while maintaining accurate employee records.
Employee Support: Address inquiries about payroll, benefits, and leave; provide HR reports and analysis.
Third-Party Coordination: Liaise with providers (e.g., insurance), auditors, and the Finance team; handle invoices and system updates.
Process Efficiency: Ensure timely final settlements for departing employees and maintain payroll systems aligned with legislative changes.
Bachelor's degree in human resources management, Finance, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in HR administration support and payroll processing, with a strong understanding of payroll operations.
Advanced proficiency in Sage 300 People, including all modules and reporting functions, particularly Financial Analysis.
Excellent knowledge of South African labor legislation and payroll regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
Advanced Excel skills are essential.
Excellent communication skills in both English and Afrikaans.
R80 000- R 100 000 per month
