Tax Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Build and secure new client relationships
• Review returns for individual and corporate tax clients including federal, foreign and state and local
• Manage federal and state tax audits
• Research and consult on complex tax issues
• Organize and plan individual jobs
• Supervising the work of others

Qualifications:

• 4 years of recent tax experience
• CPA preferred, but not required.
• Strong team management skills - the ability to lead, motivate, and coach teams of people.
• Demonstrated ability and presence as a role model for other staff and professionals, including as a result of professional and technical reputation.
• Experience in one or more specialized areas/industries
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
• Strong corporate tax background and technical skills
• Effectively establish workload priorities
• Able to analyze complex matters.
• Possess demonstrated success with consulting with and for clients on a broad range of tax matters
