Job Title: Tax Manager

Location: Dallas, TX (REMOTE)

Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 BASE + BONUS

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the preparation and review of complex federal and state tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies for clients, providing insights on tax planning, compliance, and risk management.
  • Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a collaborative environment and supporting their professional development.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing expert advice, and building strong relationships.
  • Stay abreast of changes in tax legislation and industry trends, effectively communicating relevant updates and strategies to clients and team members.

Must-Have Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.
  • 5-8 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax compliance and advisory services.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations, along with proficiency in tax software and research tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client relationships and lead a team effectively.
