Manager, Asset and Wealth Management, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Houston, TX. Provide a range of Assurance services and business advice to a variety of clients from small, fast growing clients to large entities. Focus on using the latest technology to reduce the level of manual testing ensuring the focus on the most valuable areas of client service and on enhancing corporate governance and the reliability of clients’ information. Help to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Provide value through digitization, automation, and increased efficiencies. Provide technical knowledge, specialization, and industry insights, to solve clients’ needs. Supervise and coach teams.

 

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Salary: $122,000/yr - $158,000/yr.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Tax, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 5 years of post-bachelor, progressive, related work experience.

 

In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Tax, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 3 years of related work experience.

 

Certification(s) required: US CPA or foreign equivalent.

 

Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:

 

  • Leveraging knowledge of technical accounting and financial reporting standards, and supporting resolution of technical accounting issues through effective analysis of accounting standards/issues;
  • Building the most appropriate audit test plan, validating client methodology and audit methodology, and confirming appropriate GAAP accounting disclosure;
  • Using one of the following: Alteryx or Tableau; and
  • Working with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in the United States (U.S. GAAP), United States Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (U.S. GAAS) and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) standards.

 

80% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office.

 

Travel requirement(s): Domestic and/or international travel up to 80% required.
