We are working with a client based in Plymouth seeking a Finance Officer to join a vibrant and national business. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role to the business in supporting day-to-day financial operations. This role requires a proactive confident communicator, with a strong attention to detail, and a good understanding of financial processes. This is a 6 month temporary position.

•Process supplier invoices accurately complying with internal procedures and guidance.

•Verify and approve supplier invoices, match PO invoices and obtaining approval for supplier invoices.

•Contributing to month end processes, ensuring all transactions are appropriately recorded.

•Assist with preparation for financial audits and reporting.

•Build relationships with suppliers, providing excellent customer service.

•Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks.

Essential Experience / Qualifications and Candidate Attributes Required:

•Recent, Proven experience having worked within finance or accounting role.

•Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel).

•Strong Maths and computer skills.

•Confident communicator and highly organised.

•Detailed planning and time management skills.

Job Details:

•Monday to Friday 09.00 to 17.00
