Accounts Assistant
NG1, Nottingham - No on-site parking available
£25,000 - £27,000 per annum
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch break)
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Accounts Assistant to become a valued member of our client's busy Accounts Department. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of a dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
* Performing bank reconciliations.
* Managing the processing of client and office receipts.
* Reviewing and processing private and legal aid bills.
* Setting up electronic payments.
* Handling the purchase ledger.
* Managing petty cash transactions.
* Reconciling company credit cards.
* Supporting the completion of month-end and year-end tasks.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years of accounts experience.
* A solid understanding of VAT regulations.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
