Role: Accounts Assistant

Our client is looking for an individual with experience in full end-to-end Accounts Payable, who is competent in Microsoft Office and is looking for a challenge in and exciting role.

Key

Responsibilities:


Responsible for all communications into the accounts mailbox
Handling the purchase order logs
Prepare payment runs each month on time
Prepare and process sales invoices monthly
Responsible for credit control and monitoring the updates
Undertake reconciliation including travel and supplier statements
Handling petty cash
Review contract financials for implementation of new projects.
Take on other financial responsibilities and tasks when required
Update and check over process notes where needed
On the accounting software Xero, will set up new Direct Debits and Suppliers

Experience:

Qualified accountancy by experience (minimum 3 years) or accountancy qualified (with 3 years minimum work experience)
Track record of an excellent standard of work who needs limited supervision
Organised and a strong communicator internally and externally who does not shy from new tasks and understands online accounting software
A keen eye for detail with a methodical approach to processes
