The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the group's financial operations, ensuring compliance, and leading the financial reporting function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the financial accounting, reporting, and tax-related functions across the group, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements.
- Oversee both SOX compliance for group and the annual external audit, working directly with external auditors to ensure smooth, efficient audits and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Lead the resolution of complex technical accounting issues, ensuring compliance with AIFRS and US GAAP.
- Work closely with the CFO to support financial operations, including strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various departments to ensure alignment on financial goals and performance.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of financial strategies to support the organisation's growth and success.
- Proven experience in financial accounting and reporting at a senior level, with strong expertise in both AIFRS and US GAAP.
- In-depth knowledge of SOX compliance and experience managing external audits, with a hands-on approach to ensuring smooth audit processes.
- Expertise in resolving complex technical accounting challenges and driving financial transparency across the organisation.
- A proactive and adaptable team player who thrives in a collaborative, non-hierarchical environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- A strategic thinker with the ability to support the CFO in driving high performance and achieving organisational goals.
