The Company
Our client is a small NZ owned company, based in East Tamaki. This business is a key player within their industry and have several branches and multiple manufacturing sites across the country. Their modern offices are easily accessible via the motorway as well as being easily accessible via eastern bus routes. They have a permanent staff member going on leave and therefore require a contractor to come onboard to assist during this period.

The Role
In this role you will be working in a team of 2 reporting to the Finance Manager. You will be responsible for your own ledger supporting a specific area of the business. You will be critical to the success of the wider Accounts Payable team and your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the accounts payable function for your portion of the ledger
• High volume supplier reconciliations
• Accurately matching invoices to purchase orders
• Completing statement reconciliations
• Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries

Your profile:

You will have proven experience in an Accounts Payable position, where you have really taken ownership of the function, whether that be in a team or sole-charge capacity. You will also be deadline driven with excellent communication skills.

Working within a supportive and collaborative team and being responsible for you own ledger, you will be someone who can work well with others, whilst being results-orientated with a high level of attention to detail.
