Finatal is partnered with a Private Equity backed premium e-commerce retailer who is currently expanding their finance team due to the continued growth of the company. They are seeking an experienced Commercial Finance Manager to join the company and help support the CFO with this continued growth, as well as supporting upcoming projects. This person MUST have experience working with the fashion industry. This is an extremely exciting opportunity as you will be working closely with a well-established CFO and have exposure to working with the Private Equity board.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Commercial Finance Manager. This a key role within the organisation business partnering the senior leadership team on financial planning and commercial analysis. The right individual will have experience in Fashion, be great at challenging and love analysing bit sets of data. The Senior Commercial Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial strategies, analysing market trends, and providing insights to optimise performance.

Responsibilities
  • Provide finance business partnership
  • Own the production of weekly / Monthly MI and play a key part in the discussion and challenging of key areas to drive constant improvements.
  • Support the CFO with board and Senior Leadership communications
  • Support the CFO on M&A activities
  • Analysis and communication of P&L lines to identify volume, rate and mix drivers to explain and challenge performance
  • Identification of Opportunities and Risks with sufficient notice to influence the outcome
  • Delivery of core finance processes including month end reporting, forecasts, budgets and long range planning
  • Analytical support to projects and new initiatives
  • Champion the usage of data across different teams, coach and empower business partners to derive insights using self-service analytics tools and incorporate data as part of daily decision making
  • Proactively and constructively question the status quo. Identify improvements to continuously optimise business/technology decisions and ways of working.


Experience/Qualifications required
  • 5+ years in a commercial finance role
  • Experience working in the retail sector
  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualified
