Why This Role?

Our client is committed to supporting and nurturing talent, offering you the chance to work in a high-impact role that bridges finance, risk, and governance. You’ll play a central part in ensuring compliance and stability by helping to craft recovery plans, resolution returns, and wind-down plans. This is a unique opportunity to learn from some of the best in the business while building the skills you need to thrive in the financial services sector.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Coordinating and preparing key documentation, including recovery plans and regulatory returns, that directly impact the strategic and operational resilience of European entities.
  • Collaborating with a variety of teams across the organisation-Finance, Risk, Treasury, Front Office, and senior management-to ensure alignment and consistency in processes.
  • Working closely with experts in stress testing and scenario development, playing an integral role in governance and forward-looking planning.

What’s In It For You?
  • Build a robust foundation in prudential risk and gain valuable exposure to UK and European regulatory frameworks.
  • Work with multiple teams and stakeholders, expanding your network and learning across disciplines.
  • Contribute to the long-term success and compliance of key financial entities in a role that makes a real difference.
  • Sharpen your analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills while engaging with senior decision-makers.

What We’re Looking For
  • A basic understanding of recovery and resolution planning under UK and European regulations, or experience in capital adequacy or liquidity management in banking, investment firms, or consultancy.
  • Awareness of regulatory developments and policy changes in the UK and Europe.
  • Proven ability to contribute to cross-organisational projects, with a collaborative and solutions-driven approach.
  • Strong analytical skills with a meticulous eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the confidence to present complex concepts to senior stakeholders.
