OBJECTIVES :
  • To deliver retention targets to meet individual and team targets
  • Ensure prudent Commercial Underwriting of Credit Insurance Business, adhering to Group and UK Standards.
  • To take joint ownership of the loss ratio of their portfolio with the Risk department and deliver a profitable result to the business.
  • To develop strong client relationships and create a sense of mutual trust and beneficial reliance with new clients.
  • Develop the relationship between Coface and its clients, brokers and other intermediaries, working pro-actively to a client strategy
  • To maximise the opportunities for all product lines, thereby maximising contribution.

To work closely with the Client and Contract Services teams to provide a timely and efficient service to clients and brokers

KEY TASK &

RESPONSIBILITIES:


Delivery of targets in respect of retention and profitability of our credit insurance book and cross-selling of our other products.
  • Ensure client strategy plans for their CGS programs are updated on a quarterly basis and are made available to senior personnel as and when required.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with customers and brokers to maximise retention levels and new business generation.
  • Explore opportunities to develop additional business from their portfolio.
  • Support other Commercial Teams to assist in the delivery of company objectives.
  • Undertake due diligence and a thorough Know Your Customer check (per Coface definition) of prospects and clients, before a sale is recorded and documents issued

PROFILE :
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well within in a team and also independently
  • Very good organisational skills and the ability to plan effectively
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Knowledge of the current economic climate
  • Degree educated in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
