Duties will include:

* Supporting the FD to make strategic decisions based on financial performance

* Managing and mentoring a team

* Finalising month end, providing month end analysis and commentary

* Manage and maintain ongoing process improvements within the team

* Assist with year end audit and statutory accounting

* Build relationships with non-finance heads of departments

* Ad hoc project accounting

The successful candidate will hold a professional accountancy qualification and have previous experience of managing staff. Strong analysis and reporting skills are also essential
