We are currently recruiting a highly skilled Credit Controller to join a dynamic finance team for our client based in North Lanarkshire.

As a Credit Controller you will report to the Group Financial Controller and Credit Control Team leader, working in a fast paced team environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.



Responsibilities:

  • Chasing customer debt daily
  • Dealing with invoice queries (both internal and external)
  • Allocating cash receipts onto Sales Ledger
  • Regular team meetings with internal Department Mangers
  • Attending regular Credit Control meetings
  • Opening new customer accounts
  • Reconciling customer deposits and arranging deposit refunds


Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Credit Controller
  • Strong sales, and cash allocation experience
  • Good communication skills required in dealing with internal and external clients
  • Good computer skills (experience with Sage 200 desirable)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work to deadlines


Offering
  • Salary £28k - £30k DOE
  • Hours Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
  • Holidays 30 days including statutory holidays
  • Pension
  • Office based
