About Us:
Our client is a well-established and growing company who are currently seeking a dedicated Assistant Management Accountant to join their well established Finance team at their Kidderminster site.
Key
Responsibilities:
* Cash Flow Management: Oversee daily cash flow analysis, create weekly cash flow forecasts, and coordinate with various teams.
* Month-End Accounts: Play a vital role in the month-end accounts process, including journal postings, analysis preparation, and balance sheet reconciliations.
* Manufacturing Financial Support: Collaborate with the production and supply chain team to provide financial analysis that enhances manufacturing efficiency.
* Stock Management: Oversee monthly stock counts, input data, and analyse discrepancies.
* Fixed Asset Management: Ensure accurate recording and maintenance of the fixed asset register.
* VAT Returns: Prepare and submit VAT returns accurately and on time.
* IT and Project Support: Assist with IT projects and handle daily financial tasks as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Essential: CIMA qualification (or equivalent).
* Experience: Demonstrable experience in a similar role.
* Skills: Proficiency in all finance-related tasks in an SME, strong organisational and time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to plan workload effectively.
Attributes:
* Professionalism: A self-motivated, problem-solving individual with a strong customer service mindset.
* Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
* Flexibility: Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
