Responsibilities:
As a Finance Assistant, you will play a key role in the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Your duties will include:
- Sales Ledger: Generating sales invoices, importing billing data, resolving customer queries, and ensuring timely payments.
- Purchase Ledger: Posting supplier invoices, obtaining payment approvals, and processing payment runs.
- General Ledger: Bank and petty cash reconciliations, posting transactions, and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
- Month-End Duties: Assisting with month-end processes and reporting, maintaining accurate records of financial transactions.
- Ad-Hoc Tasks: Supporting the department with various finance-related tasks as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Experience in accounting or finance (preferably within a similar role).
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with customers and suppliers.
- Proficiency with accounting software (experience with financial software is advantageous).
- A team-oriented mindset, able to work efficiently and collaborate across departments.
- The ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
