Payroll Assistant | £26,000-£28,000 DOE | Blackburn + Hybrid (2 days in office) | Full-time and Part-time Available

Axon Moore are pleased to be working exclusively on behalf of a rapidly-growing business as they look to recruit a Payroll Assistant to join the department. You will join a small and friendly team working in an exciting role.

The successful candidate will have a good level of payroll experience and will be familiar with payroll software and payroll related legislation. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to process large volumes of data quickly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Accurate and timely payments for permanent and fixed term staff.
Processing of monthly payrolls from start to finish
Process any personnel changes including starters and leavers.
Answering queries from employees and taking the necessary action to correct any discrepancy.
Undertake any other tasks as requested by the Payroll Manager
Required Skills and Experience:

Excellent communication skills.
Strong IT skills including MS Office.
Ability to work to tight deadlines.
Payroll understanding / experience within a similar environment
