Anderson Knight are currently recruiting on behalf of a client based in Hillington who are looking to add an experienced Assistant Accountant to their team. This role offers hybrid working with as little as one day per week in the office if this is something the right candidate would prefer. Salary on offer is £28-30,000 based on experience.

Key Accountabilities

The main responsibilities will initially include (but not be limited to):

* Allocation of bank receipts & payments

* Reconciliation of supplier statements

* Aged debt monitoring

* Processing of monthly payment runs

* Reconciliation of control accounts

* Production of monthly accounts pack for group laboratories

* Production of ad-hoc reports for management

* Provide support to the Finance Manager and Financial Controller where required

Knowledge & Skills

* Prior experience of purchase and sales ledger essential

* Experience of a high-volume environment desirable

* Sage 50 & Xero experience highly advantageous

* Strong Excel skills beneficial
