Job Description
Brook Street are delighted to be working with one of our key clients, a well known Accountancy firm based in Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join a well-established firm where they will have full responsibility of managing a portfolio of clients.
Key
Responsibilities:
Preparation of accounts for limited companies and sole traders.
Prepare monthly corporation tax calculations.
Produce calculations for tax payments.
Preparation of VAT returns on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
Ad hoc duties around share restructure.
Key Requirements:
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or QBE).
Strong technical knowledge and experience in management and statutory accounts.
Highly proficient in Excel and knowledge of Iris, QuickBooks or Xero.
Proactive attitude with strength to work under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
