We are currently recruiting for Financial Controller to join a market leading business based in Ipswich.

You will be working closely with the Finance Director and other senior stakeholders, so will offer fantastic exposure across the wider business.

Responsibilities include:

Delivery of the month-end close process
Preparation of annual budgets
Processing and managing quarterly VAT returns
Managing the year-end annual accounts process including the completion of any audit requirements
Providing commentary and reports on the month-end/half-year/annual accounts for both internal and external stakeholders
Developing, documenting, and improving business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Processing and managing monthly payroll, including pension payments
Key skills

You will be a Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA with relevant experience
Experience working in a SME with exponential planned growth
Experience leading and developing a team
Must be a team player and willing to provide support where needed
Exposure of working in a PE backed business
