Wakefield based Construction business are looking to expand their accounts function with a Finance Manager opportunity. You will support the Financial Director with the production of management accounts, month end management and reporting to stakeholders. The role offers great exposure and the chance to work within a growing industry for a business that can offer fantastic progression opportunities.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced management/ Financial accountant to show case their abilities and take full control of the efficiency and production of month end accounts.

You will be working collectively with the Financial Controller and the wider team to achieve the following

responsibilities:


* To prepare and present timely monthly management accounts

* Business partner with senior stakeholders, indicating on business performance

* Financial reporting and analysis offering commentary

* Assisting the commercial team with forecasts

* Assist with costing

* Year End audit preparation and assistance

* Improve current systems and processes

* Ad-hoc work

Preferably you will have experience in producing management accounts and either part-qualified or qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to have a real influence on the business and to take full control over the month end.
