Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.
• Prepare accounts up until a trial balance level.
• Prepare main income statements.
• Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts.
• Process month-end journals and perform month-end closing tasks.
• Prepare monthly journals and internal control file.
• Perform monthly reconciliations on GL accounts and maintain file.
• Review internal controls for effectiveness.
• Complete VAT and other statutory returns.
• Plan and allocate work effectively to ensure deadlines are met.
• Set-up project plan with milestones and manage it within deadlines
• Monitor individual performance and provide feedback and/or on-the-job coaching when necessary.
• Assist with budgets and forecasts.
• Coordinate accounts payable process
