Job description Job Overview As a Tax Preparer, you will play a crucial role in assisting individuals with their tax preparation needs as well as providing office support. This position requires a strong understanding of financial concepts and excellent attention to detail. Employment through April 15, 2025. Responsibilities - Prepare accurate tax returns for clients - Assist with processing returns for pickup - Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and address any tax-related queries - Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance for clients - Answer phones and assist with booking appointments, receiving drop offs and pickups Skills -1 or more years of experience in professional tax preparation - Familiarity with financial software to streamline tax preparation processes - Knowledge of public accounting practices and procedures - Strong math skills for accurate calculations - Excellent customer service skills to interact effectively with clients - Experience with accounting software for financial data management - Thorough understanding of various financial concepts relevant to tax preparation Job Type: Seasonal Expected hours: 40 per week Ability to Commute: Lima, OH 45805 (Required) Work Location: In person
