Financial Services Management Accountant

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Financial Services Management Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive monthly statutory, regulatory, and management reporting for designated business units. You will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy and supporting strategic decision-making within the organization.

12 Month Contract based in Sandton

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyse monthly management reports to provide insights into financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with various business units to gather necessary financial data and understand operational impacts.
• Assist in budget preparation and forecasting processes.
• Conduct variance analysis and prepare financial performance reports for management review.
• Support the finance team in internal audits and compliance checks.
• Identify areas for process improvements within financial reporting and accounting practices.
• Provide financial insights to support business strategy and operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in financial reporting and analysis, preferably within a financial services environment.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
