Join my client's team and take charge of essential accounting operations, including cashbooks, foreign currency transactions, financial reporting, and year-end audits.

This role is based in Parktown North, Johannesburg North.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage cashbooks and bank reconciliations for multiple entities in foreign currencies.
• Maintain and update the fixed assets register, including depreciation schedules.
• Process credit card transactions, monthly journals, and employee reimbursements.
• Ensure accurate recording of accruals, provisions, and prepayments.
• Provide analytical insights and financial reports to management and stakeholders.
• Assist with year-end audits and maintain compliance with IFRS and South African financial laws.
• Work effectively within group structures, including consolidations for foreign subsidiaries.

Education and Skills Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Proficiency in Sage 300; SAP or Oracle NetSuite experience is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of IFRS, foreign currency transactions, and group consolidations.
• Knowledge of South African financial laws and regulations.
