We require and experienced Accountant with FRUIT industry experience in the Winelands. Degree is essential.

Duties & ResponsibilitiesMinimum Requirements:

Accounting Degree

Completed Articles OR more than 4 years accounting experience

Fruit industry experience

Cost accounting experience

Advanced Excel

Experience with forex payments/transactions

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage full creditors process on producers
− Capturing and review of produce and related cost elements & related adjustments
− Weekly preparations and review of payments to producers
− Sending of payment remittances to producers
− Reporting on producer payment summaries
− Managing ledgers for any deductions on producer payments
- Cashflow management
- Monthly updating and monitoring of standard costs and related variances
- Invoicing of costs back to producers
- Management of balance sheet items, relating to control accounts on standard cost
- Various reporting
- Onboarding of new customers and producers
- Processing of commercial invoices and credit notes
- Preparation and review of weekly and monthly commercial creditor payments
- Any other relevant accounting functions as required
