Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Preparing and consolidating financial statements including balance sheet, profit & loss report and other statutory reports across group businesses.
- Develop and analyse budgets and forecasts monthly, quarterly, and annually for all businesses.
- Conduct operational and financial analysis to assess costs and revenues regularly.
- Prepare cashflow statements and perform cash flow analysis for all the businesses
- Identify opportunities to improve working capital and liquidity within the business for better cashflow.
- Maintain internal control systems and review accounting policies for improvements.
- Enhance internal processes and procedures in accounting systems across group businesses.
- Oversee compliance with BAS, IAS, and other regulatory obligations, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and various compliance requirements.
- Manage GST recognition and finance data integration.
- Ensure timely completion of all financial reporting deadlines.
- Manage payment obligations, including payroll and related tax activities, across group businesses.
- Protect financial information with routine database backups and system upgrades across group businesses.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related domain.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in accounting sector is preferred.
- Understanding of Australian accounting standards and Australian experience is required
- Able to perform accounting analysis.
- Knowledge of Quickbooks and printIQ is essential.
