We are looking for a Finance Analyst to join our London-based finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in a range of finance matters, bringing strong analytical skills and a proactive mindset to support our dynamic operations.

Role

Responsibilities:


Marketing Budgets and Spend Allocations
  • Assist with annual budgeting for group marketing and sales events.
  • Allocate marketing spend to specific titles and recoupment.
  • Track actual spending against the budget for the year and specific events.

TV Acquisition / Minimum Guarantees
  • Review contracts in the rights management system.
  • Support the preparation of investment requests.
  • Track annual commitments to budget and manage annual cash flow.
  • Provide short-term forecasting and liquidity management for content MG commitments and distribution collections.

T&E / Overhead Management (Budgets / Allocations)
  • Build, allocate, and monitor budgets across the distribution team.
  • Manage actual spend against budget targets and mitigate unbudgeted expenses.
  • Provide guidance on T&E policy, monitor spending, and ensure proper coding.
  • Serve as a business partner on the Concur expense system for coding and allocations.

Adhoc Responsibilities
  • Assist with Accounts Receivable queries, invoicing, withholding tax, and cash clearing.
  • Support Accounts Payable with coding and vendor query management.
  • Manage the International Team Inbox.
  • Provide support for adhoc royalty reporting.

Requirements:
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial and research data.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task projects and stakeholders.
Excellent interpersonal skills (tact, diplomacy, discretion).
Ability to organize workload to fit a dynamic and fast-paced timeframe.

Preferred:
Experience in the Media / Creative Industry.
Experience with SAP/BPC or similar ERP systems.
Finalist or newly qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA).
