We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our client. You can be based anywhere in the UK as this business operates remotely.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be a capable Finance professional working closely with a team of Accounts Assistants. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports in accordance with accounting standards. You will work closely with the Financial Controller and other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and provide support for budgeting and forecasting.



Responsibilities:

• Ensure accuracy of financial transactions and manage financial records
• Prepare DRAFT financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities including coordinating inputs from other teams
• Analyse financial data and provide insights to management
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial records

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA or CA certification preferred
• 3+ years of experience in accounting or related field
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
