About the Role

The newly created Solutions division addresses the strong business opportunity and the potential to close protection gap for more people around the world through new, better, more affordable and accessible insurance solutions.

As a Senior Solutions Financial Analyst, you will play a fundamental role in the Solutions Finance team to provide transparency into the new solutions business globally.

You will work directly with the Solutions Management Team members and their teams, advising them of the profitability of their portfolios and giving critical financial advice on actions to improve business performance.

Together we will build and structure the end-to-end operations of a finance function for Solutions within the company.

You will:
  • Use your strong analytical, data processing and communication skills to provide opinions and value-added input while helping to make sure data is comprehensive, complete and well understood
  • Analyze financial results, being able to put them in context to support the Management Team managing the Solutions portfolio performance
  • Finalize the transition to the IFRS framework for the Solutions division
  • Lead the definition of the financial planning plan for Solutions division in coordination with the other team members
  • Finalize the set-up of the Solutions division end-to-end view and controls framework for the Finance function
  • Improve the standard for quarterly reporting and planning in a lean and efficient way, allowing for proactive business steering


The role requires a high level of interaction and coordination of activities with teams in multiple countries and functions including Finance, Legal, Product and Sales.

About the Team

Within Reinsurance Finance, our team is responsible for financial analysis and planning for the Solutions business worldwide with a focus on IFRS.

From our data and our network in the company we aim to provide senior management with key insights into business performance, guiding them to make accurate and impactful decisions.

We also act as a CFO function for the Head of Solutions.

Finally, we work closely with the other FP&A teams to ensure quality and consistency of information.

About You

Essentials

  • University degree, preferably in economics, finance, business administration or natural sciences
  • At least 6 years work experience in an insurance or reinsurance company or similar
  • Good understanding of financial statements
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Excellent oral & written English
