Rutherford Cross is delighted to be supporting our city centre client for the appointment of an interim Finance Manager to cover a period of 9-12 month maternity leave.
The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the finance department group and providing high quality, timely and accurate information to the Board to allow strategic decisions to be made to maximise revenue and profit growth.

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the finance department group and providing high quality, timely and accurate information to the Board to allow strategic decisions to be made to maximise revenue and profit growth.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Accountability for the finance function across the Group, working closely with the Finance team on internal controls, consolidation, financial process optimisation, consistency in management reporting, forecasting, balance sheet reconciliation, annual budgeting, new asset integration and supplier payment management
- Ongoing development of the monthly board pack in conjunction with the Finance Director, including the preparation of financial information, value added commentary and analysis to assist the board to better understand and improve the performance of the business, this includes financial modelling and KPI management
- Form a close working relationship with Finance Director and Senior Executives
- Manage monthly MI returns to our private Equity investor and to our lenders
- Be responsible for the company cash management policies and performance
- Be the main point of contact for annual audit, corporation tax and all taxation matters in conjunction with external advisors. Ensure that all information required as part of annual audit is prepared and provided on a timely basis
- Work with Head of M&A and Finance Director on any new potential acquisitions by providing financial insight and ensuring timely completion accounts
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (CA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
- 3+ years’ experience in a senior Finance Role, ideally in a similarly sized or larger business
