Finance Controller
Nestled in one of the most beautiful corners of the South Lakes, Our client who are Steel Fabricators have over 25 years of experience our services include the design engineering, fabrication, supply, and installation of a wide variety of structural steelwork, plant, and buildings as well as bespoke fabrication projects. We pride ourselves in fabricating conveyors, crushers and structural work for UK quarries and across Europe.
Due to the growth of the company, we are seeking a skilled Finance Controller to oversee our financial activities and drive the financial health of our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial tasks and overseeing the smooth running of the department.
Salary
£38K - £43K pro rata per annum (DOE)
Duties:
- Production of monthly management accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Accruals, prepayments, P&L reconciliations
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Manage financial reporting and analysis
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes
- Conduct financial forecasting and budgeting
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Provide management, leadership and guidance to the finance team
Experience:
- Proven experience in financial services or a related field
- Proficiency in accounts payable, financial accounting, and financial planning
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team

- Professional certification such as ACCA or CIMA is desirable
