The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge and expertise in various financial areas including income tax, GST filing, TDS filing, balance sheet preparation, financial report making, and other related tasks. The primary responsibilities of the Senior Accounts Executive include but are not limited to:
- Prepare and file income tax returns for individuals and organizations accurately and in a timely manner.
- Stay updated with the latest income tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Handle income tax assessments, audits, and notices effectively.
- Manage GST compliance activities including filing returns, reconciliation of GST data, and addressing any discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with GST regulations and updates as per government guidelines.
- Handle GST audits and assessments efficiently.
- Prepare and file TDS returns accurately and within the specified deadlines.
- Reconcile TDS data with books of accounts and ensure compliance with TDS regulations.
- Respond to TDS notices and queries from tax authorities.
- Prepare and maintain balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
- Perform periodic reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Analyze financial statements to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Generate financial reports and analysis to support management decision-making.
- Present financial information in a clear and concise manner for internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct financial forecasting and budgeting exercises to assist in strategic planning.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Maintain proper documentation and records related to financial transactions and filings.
- Assist in the preparation of documentation for internal and external audits.
- Proficient in using accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or other relevant platforms.
- Ability to leverage technology for efficient financial management and reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams including finance, tax, legal, and operations departments.
- Communicate effectively with external stakeholders including auditors, tax authorities, and vendors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in accounting and finance roles.
- Strong understanding of income tax, GST, TDS regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software,Govt tenders,GEM Portal
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
