Job Summary:
The Treasury Analyst will be responsible for a range of treasury functions including cash management, bank reconciliations, cash forecasting, and process improvements. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly skilled in Excel, and passionate about advancing their career in treasury management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cash Management: Assist with cash management for 90+ schools and 20+ corporate entities, including updating the daily cash position report and maintaining weekly, monthly, and quarterly cash forecasts.
- Bank Reconciliations: Coordinate with the Accounting team on bank and account reconciliations.
- Audit Coordination: Handle audit requests and ensure compliance with all financial protocols.
- Electronic Transfers & Payments: Assist with electronic bank transfers, wire and ACH payments, and support relevant parties as needed.
- Cost Analysis: Analyze bank fees and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Process Improvement: Suggest and implement process improvements for bank operations and treasury functions.
- Fraud Protection: Maintain and implement fraud protection measures for all accounts, including ACH company ID maintenance and Positive Pay exception decisions.
- Treasury Best Practices: Apply treasury best practices across all departmental activities.
- Documentation Management: Maintain and implement bank account agreements, signature cards, and other related documents.
- Corporate Credit Card Program: Support the corporate credit card program.
- Cash Forecasting: Assist with preparing 3-6 month cash forecasts for covenant compliance and bond draw requests.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Accounting and Financial Planning & Analysis teams, and support the Treasury team on bond and bank financing activities as needed.
- Special Projects: Assist with various special projects as assigned.
- Experience: Proven experience in treasury management or a related field; this is not an entry-level position.
- Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel, including V-lookups, pivot tables, macros, and basic formulas.
- Detail-Oriented: Ability to work with high volume and detail-oriented tasks, managing 500 open accounts across 5 different bank portals.
