Job Title:
GL Accountant
Summary:Responsible for General Ledger, including but not limited to, SAP General Ledger transactions, Support Balance sheet review, reporting, SAP, IFRS, reconciliations and compliance with internal and business controls.
Responsibilities Include:
- Manual Intercompany Invoicing, GR/IR, posting recurring entries, record accruals, journal entry preparation to comply with IFRS regulations.
- Intercompany process, GL clearing, Netting off.
- Review, Analyze Out of Balance (OOB) report, Debt Schedule report.
- Preparation and review of Blackline account reconciliations
- Preparation of VAT reports in compliance with European region
- Assist in the monthly consolidation and intercompany reconciliation process.
- Analyzing financial data and providing financial recommendations
- Understanding of accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Identifying and resolving significant IFRS/US GAAP reporting challenges related to Fixed Assets
- Ensure compliance with SOX financial reporting requirements (including maintenance of polices and procedures)
- Provide supporting documents and explanations for all Stat and SOX audit as and when required
- Ensure all Finance process in compliance with Momentive's Accounting Policies & Procedures and ensure accuracy of General Ledger
- Prepare Lease schedules and provide supporting documentation as required
- Identify process improvements to drive efficiencies
Preferred
- Experience in Integrity tool will be an added advantage
- Shared Service background, Proactive & problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet work and project deadlines producing high quality output
- Excellent MS Office Excel, Power BI, Tableau and PPT skills
- Key Metrics
- Ensuring Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly book close in compliance with Company policies, standards and maintain highest accuracy

Qualifications:

• B.Com / M. Com with 7-10yrs of relevant experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience in SAP
• Excellent communication skills
