Must have Expertise
- Exhibit in-depth knowledge of Moody's RMS models (model methodology, schema)
- Hands-on account modeler and can perform Portfolio/ Cedant analysis, understanding exposure preparation and enrichment is a big plus
- Provide high quality exposure and loss analysis, build relevant insights to enable swift business decisions at the client-end.
- Assess input data quality and highlight potential improvements to client along with impact of data fallacy/inadequacies.
- Ensure perfect project delivery by ensuring processes, guidelines and SOPs are followed
- Ensure continual workflow improvement through efficiency improvement, through process reengineering or automation ideas
- Should be able to understand and analyze impact of climate risk on financial institutions
- Excellent team player with a high degree of self-motivation while able to work independent and take initiatives
Skills required
- Must have more than 3-8 years of experience in CAT modeling.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities
- Moody’s RMS CAT modeling products - RiskLink/RiskModeler/RiskBrowser
- Strong database and data mining skills - basic knowledge of SQL, Python, and MS Excel
- Show strong organizational and communication skills.
- Collaborative and stakeholder management
Nice to have
- Experience working with Banking clients
- Ability to learn and understand policies focusing on ESG and corporate disclosures
- Understanding of global regulations and reporting standards like GRI, SASB, CDP, and TCFD especially in the financial services firm
- Understanding of key sustainability concepts such as SDGs, principles of responsible investing, Net Zero alliances for financial sectors, Blended finance, etc.
