We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Manager - Category Finance to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, and data analysis, with 4-9 years of experience in the Indian job market. The candidate must be able to work independently and collaboratively to support the finance team in driving business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Support the Finance Manager in analyzing and reporting financial data for assigned categories
• Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations to drive business decisions
• Perform financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in the category
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for the category
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures
• Conduct research and analysis on market trends and competitors to identify potential risks and opportunities
• Assist in the development of financial models and business cases to support strategic initiatives

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
• 4-9 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related field in the Indian job market
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements
• Experience with SAP or other financial systems is a plus
