THE ROLE: (Small summary of what you are looking for)
- Responsible for preparation of Financial Statements for 2 India legal entities
- Responsible to prepare and review of financial statements Audit Schedules to ensure timely completion of Statutory Audit & Regulatory Filings
- Ensure to follow up with all relevant departments on Management Recommendations shared by Statutory/ Internal Auditors.
- Responsible for review of Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Open Items, Aging, business reasons for open items, collaborate with all relevant teams to discuss on BS open items and bring it to a closure.
- Collaborate & Support Financial Reporting team for Month/ Quarterly / Yearly closing of Books of Accounts/ Financial Statements within the due dates as per Region/ Corporate guidelines.
- Responsible for compliance with SOX and IFC controls in respective areas.
- Work with GBS Finance team to ensure the regular day to day activities are running smoothly and support business accordingly.
- Special Projects as and when required, if any.

- Supporting day to day accounting activities, monthly/quarterly book closing.
- Review variances, identify business reasons and highlight risks if any.
- Review aged balance in GLs and corrective action for clearing the balances.
- Comply with IFC and SOX controls.
- Implement best practices and process improvements.
WHAT’S SPECIAL ABOUT THE TEAM: (Give insight to the team dynamic and environment)
- Coordination with India GBS Finance, Cross Functional teams and Regional / Corporate teams as required.
- Interacts with various stakeholders and senior management within the organization as required.
- Interacts with bankers and other 3rd parties as applicable for handling day to day operations.

Skills
- Looking for experience in accounting, finance, month close, reporting and audit.
- Candidate needs to have hands on experience with month closure, preparation of financial statements & audit completion.
- Must have worked in ERP environment. Oracle exposure is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Good command of both spoken and written English.
- Energetic, initiative, and hard working.
- A good team player and has good communication skills.
- Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities under general supervision.
- Ability to organize workload for effective implementation.
Experience:
- 8 to 10 years of Post Qualification or work experience. Having experience in Big 4 Audit Firm or Big 4 Audit Firm + Mfg/Retail Industry Experience
- Experience in Audits, Financial Statements, month close activities, reporting, TB analysis, handling day to day finance operations, statutory compliance
Education:
- University Graduate with Chartered Accountant qualification or equivalent (CPA/CWA)
