Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in accounting
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficiency in using accounting software, such as Tally
- Experience in handling GST, TDS, and other tax-related tasks
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and present financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of MIS (Management Information System) is preferred
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting regulations
- Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights to management for decision-making
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines
- Handle tax-related tasks, including GST, TDS, and other tax filings
- Perform regular audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures
- Manage bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial information and resolve any issues or discrepancies
