Regional Partnership Director, Western Cape - Reporting to Head of Advisory
Job Purpose:
As a regional head of the business the role is to ensure all business activity in the region from office management, operations, business development activities extending to marketing, branding, the dispensing of advice and client activation and marketing is managed and executed in a professional manner. The specific responsibilities relate to the build and maintenance of the advisors in the region that will fall into your Partnership Practice.
Knowledge:
A fundamental understanding of the financial services advisory landscape
A fundamental knowledge of FAIS
A general understanding of financial markets
Informed on current events.

Business Entrepreneur and self- starter (We are not looking for a Corporate animal)
Curiosity and original thought
Performance Driven and comfortable operating in an in an Owner Managed Business
Team Orientated
Proficient in Technology and Digital Enablement
Proficient in Financial Management
People Skills with Empathy as the most relevant soft skill
Qualifications
Tertiary Degree is a pre -requisite: B Bus Science or B Comm is preferable, and CFA/CFP is an advantage
Other tertiary qualifications will be considered if teh CFA/CFP is complete
Experience
Minimum of 15 years' experience in managing of distribution channels in financial services.
Previous experience in managing financial advisors
Previous experience as a Regional Business Head for an institution or financial services provider will be an advantage.
Knowledge of the Western Cape network and financial services environment will be an advantage.
Previous P & L responsibility
